International meeting of Participatory Budgeting in Colombia

In June, the FAL Network meeting will take place in Colombia. The city of Bogotá will host the 4th National Meeting of Local Planning and Participatory Budgeting, on 16th, 17th and 18th of June 2011. Besides, the 3rd Meeting of the International Platform for Participatory Budgeting will also be held.

This will be a goof opportunity for reaffirming the engagements established with the network, as well as involving new territories, municipalities and departments. The meeting aims at consolidating a sustainable project of reinforcement and consolidation of the processes of planning and participatory budgeting in the country.
This meeting will focus on approaching participatory construction of the territories focusing on rights and based on the dialogue with international experiences from: Brazil, Mexico, Dominican Republic, Bolivia, Argentina, Canada, United States, Spain, Portugal, France and Africa, members of the FAL Network platform.
