    Nairobi (Kenia) – 20th to 25th January 2007

    The main venue for the World Social Forum 2007 will be the Moi International Sports Centre in Kasarani- about 10 km. north east of the Central Business District of Nairobi.

    (Opening and closing ceremonies will be held at Uhuru Park in downtown Nairobi.)

    16:00 – DECLARATION OF NAIROBI. AGENDA OF COMMITMENTS AND PROPOSAL FOR A NEW ORGANISATION OF THE FAL NETWORK

    Vanessa Marx (Secretary of the Comission on Social Inclusion of UCLG), Antonio Aniesa (FALP - Metropolises in Solidarity) and Felipe Llamas (FAMSI) present the proposal written by the Organisation Group (Marraquech Group) and the Writing Comission.

    Àngel Merino (Diputación de Barcelona) present a resolution of support to the Guinean workers and to the CNTG who were violently repressed by the Guinean Army the previous night.

    The proposals were approved unanimously.
