Forum of Local and Regional Authorities of the Mediterranean 2008

The first Forum of Local and Regional Authorities of the Mediterranean will be held in MARSEILLES ON THE 22ND AND 23RD JUNE 2008. It will be organised by the Mediterranean Commission of United Cities and Local Governments (UCLG), and is being set up in response to the need expressed by local and regional authorities to create a permanent forum for expanding their involvement in the relaunch of the Barcelona Process, as agreed during the meeting of the Euromed Towns and Regions Forum of 26th November 2005.
